Founded in 1904, our metal craftsmen earned a reputation over the decades for high quality custom metal work, including sheet metal and copper roofs, gutters and downspouts, canopies and chimney caps for some of Houston's most prestigious homes. Vogler specializes in custom metal fabrication. Our Houston metal shop, fabricates custom vent hoods, copper gutters, and other structural and ornamental metal products using stainless steel, aluminum, and copper.
Vogler Sheet Metal has always had durability and longevity in mind. That’s how our company has remained in business for over 100 years. We do it right the first time. That tradition has been passed on from generation to generation in Houston and surrounding areas.
Company History
Vogler Sheet Metal came to Houston in 1904, opening its doors at it's location today at 705 Shepherd Drive in Houston. Originally, Vogler was a tin shop specializing in light metal fabrication, such as water tanks or cisterns, guttering, metal roofing, flashings, flues, skylights, ventilators, etc. The Vogler family operated the business from 1904 through 1965. For the following thirty years, Ken Rawls took over ownership. Kenneth Jeanes, the current owner, started working for Mr. Rawls in 1984 and took over majority of ownership in 1997.
For 104 years, this company has provided continuous service to Houston and surrounding areas. With only three different owners in its long history, Vogler has always operated the business with longevity in mind. Vogler Sheet Metal continues to specialize in light gauge sheet metal work for the homes and businesses of Houston and the surrounding area, but we have added many new products and capabilities such as kitchen vent hoods and sleek stainless steel counters and trim. Vogler's philiosphy has never wavered. "Do it right the first time." This credo has served the company and our customers well and is still ongoing today.
